My ideal interface for Feed Grazing

Adam asked for it so here it is.

Mix the grazing capability of OPod with the visual richness of LivePlasma and optimize it for use on a multi-touch sensing interface. Strip down the LivePlasma-like interface to display sub-nodes in a group around the parent node. Use distance (from the parent node), colour and size to provide visual clues. Distance indicates freshness. Colour (intensity ) measures Attention. Blobs grow and contract, in realtime, according to the extent of the subtree.

Watch the video for the multi-touch interaction system and see where the user uses two or more fingers to zoom in and navigate 2D and 3D maps. Imagine how quickly you could navigate the LivePlasma-like interface described above using such techniques.

That's an ideal interface but I'll be happy with more down to earth ones :-)
