Irish Podcasters pioneering CommentCasting

Brian Greene, technical manager of Doop Design, a new media company offering professional podcast production for corporations, is now beta testing Robin Blandford's CommentCasting service. Using a VoIP service CommentCasting allows one anywhere in Ireland to comment to Brian's podcast via their phone for the price of a local call. His comment feed already has two comments to his latest show.

One of the comments, made by Brian himself through a mobile call on the bus, is like the podcast equivalent of a blog post updat/edit note. He uses it as a bridge to the next show by summarising what's coming up. This is a very clever use of CommentCasting.

To repeat what I said two weeks ago - CommentCasting is going to be big!
