Google Calendar is a spammer's paradise?
Am I seriously mistaken in thinking there's a terrible flaw in Google Calendar that makes it a gift to spammers? Or is it just that I can't find the explanation in the small print?
Try this: in the Calendar section in the sidebar do a search on public calendars. I just used the search term "football" which returns 239 matches. Now pick any of the Google Calendar URLs, like this one for Aberdeen Football Club and you'll find the name and email address of the author. Huh? I know its a public calendar, but that public?

I wonder could e-mail address harvesting software interface with the calendar search function? Do you need to be logged in to use it?

Yes, AFAIK, you do need to be logged in but even if harvesting sofware would have difficulties its still dead easy to 'harvest by hand'. Does that not qualify?
