Google Calendar SMS alerts working in Ireland

I've no idea how long it's been live but after reading Don Crowley's post reporting that Google Calendar SMS reminders are working for him in the Netherlands I decided to add my mobile information to my own calendar. Lo and behold it's working* - I'm now getting text reminders a half hour in advance. Very nice!

That's not to say the other SMS features are working though - the GVENT number isn't valid here yet. Still, it's a start....

*I'm on the Vodafone Ireland network

Super cool! I just set this up for our Google For Domains putplace.com account. Fantastic, the icing one the cake for Google Calendars.

Yes, it surely is very useful, although it would be nice if the GVENT number was working for schedule polling.
