Grazr gets keystrokes, address bar and more...

Bernie Goldbach spotted some new Grazr features that "deserve our use and comments". I'd be particularly interested in hearing comments on the use of Grazr for browsing Boards.ie. Try this sequence -

  1. From the Grazr Preview page click on the "Launch a Grazr Window" icon in the top right hand corner of 1.0 Release Candidate 1
  2. Maximize the new window
  3. Copy and paste the following URL to the Address box - http://eirepreneur.blogs.com/OPML/boards-ie.opml
  4. Hit the Enter key
  5. Change the Grazr View to Outline mode by clicking on the button beside the Launch icon
  6. Click on any OPML node (blue icon) to start browsing the Boards.ie feeds
  7. Now start using the keyboard arrow keys, instead of the mouse, to navigate the nodes and feeds. Right arrow drills down into each item
  8. Launch any feed item in a new browser tab/window with Alt+Enter
  9. Use the new Expand/Collapse icon next to the Address box to... well... expand and collapse the outline

All feedback is much appreciated. Perhaps I'm biased* but I honestly find this the quickest way of all to browse the latest Boards.ie discussions.

* I'm an advisor to Grazr Corp.

Nice. Pity boards doesn't have fulltext entries.

Agreed Rowan but then again they don't exactly advertise their feeds so we've got to be thankful for small mercies :)
