The point of Google Reader's 'Next' bookmarklet

As much as I love the new Google Reader I was really scratching my head in regard to one particular feature - the Next bookmarklet which takes you to a browser view of the next unread item in your feeds. It seemed to me that this defeated the whole purpose of feed aggregation.

However Paul Watson has seen how an enhanced version could be useful  -

"... some feeds I know I want to read each item. e.g. a Flickr photo stream or a GMail feed. So why not let me specify a folder that the next feature works off of exclusively. Or let me create a custom next bookmarklet attached to a couple of feeds, or to a tag."

Ah yes, hadn't thought about that. But now that you mention it Paul I'll bet that's exactly where they're going with this especially in regard to Gmail integration. And of course Flickr 'slideshows' would be nice too. How about podcast and video feeds? YouTube playlists even?

UPDATE: D'oh, they already have tag specific 'Next' bookmarklets. How did I miss that, or did it slip in on the recent update?

That's really great and all, but ... *pulling hair out* WHERE IS IT? Lol. Everyone is talking about the neat lil bookmarklet. I can't find it!
