If the Valley won't come to Paddy, Paddy must go to the Valley

Following on from Conor's proposal to do a group tour of the Valley and Damien's extension of the idea to encompass some marketing it seems like it's really going to happen! Conor captured exactly what I think the aim of such a tour should be -

"The aim isn’t really to get VCs investing in us, it’s more to raise our profiles, learn from the culture and build our networks wider. As I said on web2ireland, we tend to focus on the short-term needs, this is more of a long-term strategic trip."

Right on. So, to keep things moving along I've setup Paddy's Valley - a wiki to help get us all on the same page. The password is silicon. Edit away!

Great idea lads. Is there a target date to commit and book tickets? The earlier the better as I'd imagine ticket prices will start going up over the next month or two.

Ben from EI USA? Excellent.

As regards a target date David the first thing for interested parties to do, I guess, is post their preferred travel dates to the wiki. Hofefully we could then converge on a few dates that suit the majority and have a vote or something. And then, yes, book the tickets as quickly as possible thereafter.
