Techtalk Menorca - what language barrier?
I really enjoyed watching these videos from Loic Le Meur showing French, Germans, Lithuanians, Belgians, Norwegians, English, Americans and loads of Spanish congregating at the farm of Martin Varsavsky in the beautiful Mediterranean island of Menorca for a tech (un)conference, each one of them speaking fluent English. What language barrier?
If Martin issues the same open invitation next year I'm sold on making the trip.

I nearly booked a last minute flight on Friday when I read about it on your blog! But unless I had a private jet, it was mission impossible. I just love these meetups, it sounds so much better than the formal boring panel conferences.

Well I'm still making my way through them Loic and have to say each one is better than the next, really excellent. I particularly enjoyed Ola Ahlvarsson's talk on going international and your own on the traveling circus. Very thought provoking. Keep up the great work.
Agreed Jan, I'd much prefer these types of informal get-togethers than the typical conference.
