The Bertie Bowl, resurrected

Health warning: Totally daft idea ahead ;-)

Having recently grokked the meme of adopting a journalist I've decided that it might be interesting to adopt a politician, in particular an Irish politician.

I've often thought that our high profile TDs are very hard to keep track of, flying off here, there and everywhere in the execution of public duty.

Why not keep track of them? Why not blog their every public step (ie. I'm not interested in tabloid-like tracking of their private lives!).

Well I'm going to bootstrap it in a blog, named in honour of my newly adopted politician. The Bertie Bowl - keeping crabs on slippery fish". ;-)

I hope this can be a group blog so I'm looking for volunteers to track other high profile ministers such as Cowan and Harney.

I also need a volunteer caricaturist to draw a fish bowl with look-alike goldfish for Bertie & Co. And a crab chasing after them perhaps. Silly I know but what the heck.
