Somehow I missed Microsoft Ireland's announcement of MSN.ie, but my brother pointed it out to me in yesterday's Sunday papers. I told him that I stopped using internet 'portals' shorty after I discovered Google. While I can appreciate that net newbies (like himself) require a certain amount of spoon feeding I advised him to fly the nest as soon as he got his bearings so that he could discover the infinitely more useful internet that exists 'in the wild'.
