John Handelaar says he's found the holy grail of Irish mapping. And that might just be no exaggeration! I tested it by throwing a number of Limerick streets at it and it worked every time.
Hopefully John will explain more about how we could use this clever hack over on the OpenEir mapping project.
As several people have already noticed, it doesn't get any more granular than street level. Individual addresses on the same street will all get pushed to the same map point.

This new thing has the ability to plot multiple points (no interface to it yet though), so the prospect of mashing it up with something else becomes easier to comtemplate.
