A few of us tech bloggers* are organising a meetup in Dublin on Saturday afternoon March 11th, before the Irish Blog Awards event. At the moment we're considering a few 15 minute presentations and I've put my name down for a discussion on Feed Grazing and the Open Irish Directory.
At the same time Emmet Connolly tells me there's interest in organising a Web 2.0 Ireland forum with a view to networking and possiblly even getting a few collaborations going. To help us all get on the same page Emmet has setup a new Web 2.0 Ireland discussion forum. Please join us.
* Tip of the hat to Bernie and Damien for the idea.
UPDATE: Damien has more details.
I'd love to be able to make this, but unfortunately I'm flying out of Dublin airport that day. Best of luck to all involved.
(I'm not just a politician; I'm currently working on an MSc by Research in Mobile Web Application Development and start as a part-time lecturer/tutor tmrw)

Any decisions as to where and when?

"I'm not just a politician; I'm currently working on an MSc by Research in Mobile Web Application Development ... "
Aha! It all makes sense ... not just a mild-mannered public representative then! Anything else we should know? Spider sense? Batmobile?
Great blog by the way, Damien! Subscribed!

Will Eirepreneur be talking at the tech break-out session about Feed Grazing, perhaps in conversation with Fergus Burns? We plan to record these conversations as podcasts, led by several different Irish podcasters during the day.
