Open Irish Directory gets its own bookmarking service

Ning, the Social Web Apps company has come in for alot of stick from some web commentators and I've definitely been scratching my head in regard to some of their services. But then Diego Doval added OPML export to a base application which I copied to produce the Open Irish Directory Social Bookmarking service and all of a sudden I could understand the magic of application cloning.

They provide a handy bookmarklet to make it click simple to add your own sites, a Top Tags tag cloud and dedicated RSS feeds for each tag. Diego hasn't yet implemented a 'full-on tag-based hierarchy' but until he does I can manually build one using the OPML editor.

Please feel free to add bookmarks for your own favourite Irish websites. Once we reach a critical mass of tags I'll start building out the hierarchies.
