Damien Mulley has news that Conn Ó Muíneacháin's An tImeall becomes the first independent Irish podcast to cross-over to traditional radio, as it begins a syndicated run on Galway city's college community station, Flirt FM.
I first met Conn at the inaugural Limerick Geek Dinner in January and within minutes of sitting down it was clear that he has at least three passions in his life (besides his lovely wife!) - the Irish language, technology and radio/broadcasting. Any entrepreneur is well advised to "follow your passion", a singlular passion, so if by a minor miracle you're lucky enough to find opportunity at the convergence of three obsessions it must surely seem like destiny.
Congratulations Conn.
Thanks James! We must have another Geek "dinner" soon!

Definitely Conn, I'll post about arranging one after the Web2Ireland conference on Thursday. Looking forward to it.
