While Le Web fallout rumbles on it's worth noting that some of the Irish startups are seeing early results - Walter Higgins' PXN8 has made Le Monde and Google Translate does an impressive job in deciphering the commentary (is it just me or has it improved dramatically?) -
"Among tens of projects presented, there is PXN8.com, an editor of photographs on line. This tool makes it possible to carry out a certain number of operations on images like crossing, recutting, zoomer, to eliminate red the eyes effect, etc, and this, without installing of software. PXN8 is thus usable of any computer connected to the network."
Thanks James,
I was genuinely surprised (and delighted) to see PXN8 in LeMonde. Given the number of Startups that demoed (100), it made my day. Le Monde is still feeding a lot of traffic. It's in the print edition too.
