Rita Shah wins Ethnic Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Congratulations to Rita Shah who has been voted overall winner of the Permanent TSB Ethnic Entrepreneur of the year awards. Rita founded Monaghan-based Shabra Plastics over twenty years ago. Ethnic? What a silly name for an award. Ethnic means belonging to a certain social group. Every entrepreneur is ethnic. These are really for non-Irish people, right? So taking the context into account they should be called Non-Ethnic Entrepreneur of the Year Awards!
