It's great to see that Cork OpenCoffee Club is kicking off next Friday (16th March), and living in the midwest region myself I'm hoping to pop along at some stage. That's why Mary Gilmartin and myself agree that we should probably stagger the Limerick meetups with the Cork ones so we're going to likewise aim for fortnightly gatherings, starting again on Thursday 22nd March, 11 - 12am.
Mary's spreading the word at LIT and UL and I'll try contacting a few people at LCEB, EI, etc,. See you there!
Did the previous one ever happen?
Anyway, I will most definetly try to make this one.

I don't believe it did Evert - I couldn't make it myself due to a dose of the flu. Anyway, good to hear you're coming along next week - see you then!

Something strange happened to me for the last one. I went to the Clarion Hotel, looked around for some bloggers, and I saw a guy working with a McBook. I went and introduced myself, asked him if was there for the open coffee. He said no, I'm an entrepreneur, what do you do?. As it happened, he was an English man visiting his wife's family in Limerick and enjoying the free wifi and the coffee in the Clarion. We talked for two hours, shared our entrepreneurial experiences and business concepts. And we could well do business together in the future! Thanks for organising these open coffee mornings, we never know who we're going to meet!
