Dublin based Web Developer Jason Roe got in contact (via Damien) to say that he was interested in further promoting the concept of CoWorking in Ireland and asked if I'd like to get involved in the community driven project. Absolutely, of course!
Quick as a flash Jason got the new blog up and going at Coworking.ie and I'm after cross-posting there with my previous message about the SoHo Solo initiative. Jason says -
"The goals of the project will be to promote coworking in ireland, to provide community space for coworkers to team up and to serve as a guide to people who are looking to go out on their own."

James - I'm interested in looking at the possibility of using some of the ArcLabs Innovation Centre at WIT for co-working. The infrastructure and services are already in place.

Thanks excellent news, thanks Tom. After the recent BarCamp in ArcLabs I blogged about how beautiful a setting it was so it's hard to imagine a cooler location for coworking :-)

Tom - I must admit that was a stunning venue for barcamp.
Id love to hear about some of your ideas for ArcLabs. Maybe you could share them on coworking.ie?

Nice idea - a guy I heard about at the world forum on social entrepreneurship has a good idea that might be of interest (although it's in the UK): the-hub.net
Haven't seen anything similar over here.

Great link John, thanks. I love the wording on the site - very motivational and hooks into the themes that make coworking exciting.

i love the idea. still, there're a million buttons on coworking.ie but no place to post comments or make it a bit interactive...:( too bad.
