Don Crowley built a unifeed (unified feed of all his digital streams) using Feedblendr and then plugged it into Twitter using twitterfeed so that you can subscribe to the 'ticker tape of his life' via text messaging -
"Services like Feedblendr and twitterfeed are like the command line of mashups using rss. This is pretty much the same as using unix pipes to filter and edit rss. That is exactly what I wanted."
Feedblendr has issues with fusing the post time of items from various sources. He might find posts lumping together rather than appearing in order. AFAIK, there's no easy way to do this right now with accurately dated output (or even an inaccurate, but reasonably consistent dating), right now, including pipes; due to the various differences in date formatting possible within RSS.
