Fix8 on Second Life

Duncan Riley reports on fix8, a "free interactive communication tool that animates your expressions and movements in real-time". I've seen something like this before but nothing that seems to work this well (see the demo).

With live spoken audio already on the way to Second Life, Linden Labs will surely snap up technology like fix8 and integrate it into that virtual world such that you can animate your avatar to ‘mime’ your words. The illusion would thus be complete.
