Martha Rotter is bringing Girl Geek Dinners to Ireland. "It's an informal event for women to get together and talk. Dinners generally have either a speaker for a general topic or several people talking for shorter periods of time."
My favourite Irish Girl Geek (well she is from Limerick) Alexia Golez has a great riff on Sneaky Social Selling. "Can you imagine, for a second, the selling power that a trusted, well-connected individual in a social network could wield?"
And via Conor O'Neill comes a pointer to a great new girl geek (on my radar) Phoebe Bright, writing about such eclectics as the methane emission of cows and the future of flying cars from her base in west Cork. Wonderful stuff.
* blushes * Thanks, James. I didn't know that having Treaty blood pushed me over the finish line like that :)
